Ruff's story
Ruff is a 2 year old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix weighing 9 pounds. He has long legs and a thin body. He was rescued from a high kill shelter with his sister Houdini. When we first got him, he was so petrified that he would not even come near you and would bark and growl. Within a day he learned that he would not be hurt and learned to trust. He is timid when he first meets new people but in no time at all, he realizes that he is safe and begins to relax. If you can look beyond his defensive behavior, you will have a loyal, lovable, playful companion.
We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida.
