The successful applicant will be detail oriented, self-motivated and work well as part of a team. This person must take initiative, consistently meet deadlines, have strong mechanical aptitude, and demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt quickly
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble airframes, flying surfaces, landing gear, cockpit, and mechanical subassemblies
Install engines, propellers, wiring harnesses, and fuel tanks
Operate hand tools and machines as required
Requirements of Education / Experience / Skills:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Two to five years of experience in mechanical assembly or machine operations
Must be able to read and understand assembly procedures and mechanical drawings in English
Must be able to effectively work with adhesives, lubricants, finishes, coatings, and other general manufacturing technologies
Experience in metal fabrication, composites, plumbing, electrical assembly, upholstery assembly, and creative problem solving for mechanical assemblies
An A&P license would be a definite plus
